To create an external virtual network (linked to your physical NIC), and follow these steps:
1. Open: Hyper-V Manager
2. On the right side, click on Virtual Network Manager3. You will see 3 types of virtual network: External, Internal and Private
4. Choose: External and click Add5. You can specify the Virtual Network Name and Connection Type (select physical NIC)
6. Click OK to apply configuration.
7. Check your Network Connections under Network Setting of virtual machine, you will see an external virtual network has been created.
To link your virtual network to a VM :
1. Open: Settings of a Virtual Machine
2. Network Configuration: select an External Virtual Network that you created in above steps
3. Click OK to apply
