One guys was driving down the street in a sweat, because he had an important meeting and couldn't find a parking space. Looking up toward Heaven, he prayed: "Lord! Take pity on me, IF you find me a parking place I will Praying on a regular bases for the rest of my life! And give up drinking alcohol!" Miraculously, a parking space appeared.

The Difference Between Printers

The difference between: OfficeJet, InkJet, LaserJet, DeskJet, and PhotoSmart
OfficeJet - color can be purchased at a cheaper price but has lower quality. It is good for occasional color printing; i.e. flyer, power-points and etc.

LaserJet - are great for black and white printing (and inexpensive) but expensive for color printing. It is good for businesses when printing a lot of black and white; i.e. invoices, requests, reports and etc. They are also ideal for businesses who utilize a network for multiple work stations.

DeskJet - is normally good for home and everyday printing use; i.e. spreadsheet or a presentation or two.

Inkjet - are ideally good as standalone printing. It has higher color printing quality.

PhotoSmart - great for high quality color printing; i.e. photos and presentations that need to be very very nice. Take costs into consideration as well.

  • Choose an e-mail that offers other productivity tools.
    • i.e. easy to use calendar, documents, photos, tasks, filters, labels/folder, sharing, keyboard shortcuts, chat, security, and etc.
    • Gmail by far the best e-mail that has all those useful features.
  • Establish a password that contains:
    • Upper Case Letter(s)
    • lower case letter(s)
    • 1 or 2 numbers
    • And one or two $ymbo!s
  • One e-mail for not-so-important stuff.
    • i.e. subscriptions, newsletters, random sign-ups, and etc.
  • One professional e-mail for daily communication.

Fixing the U.S. Economy

The Fix

There recently was an article in the St. Petersburg FL Times. The Business Section asked readers for ideas on: "How Would You Fix the Economy?" I think this guy nailed it!
Dear Mr. President,
Please find below my suggestion for fixing America 's economy.  Instead of giving billions of dollars to companies that will squander the money on lavish parties and unearned bonuses, use the following plan. You can call it the "Patriotic Retirement Plan":

There are about 40 million people over 50 in the work force.  Pay them $1 million apiece severance for early retirement with the following stipulations:

1) They MUST retire.  Forty million job openings - Unemployment fixed.

2) They MUST buy a new American CAR.  Forty million cars ordered – Auto Industry fixed.

3) They MUST either buy a house or pay off their mortgage – Housing Crisis fixed.

It can't get any easier than that!!
P.S. If more money is needed, have all members in Congress pay their taxes...
Mr. President, while you're at it, make Congress retire on Social Security and Medicare. I'll bet both programs would be fixed pronto!
If you think this would work, please forward to everyone you know.

Requesting a Day off?!

So you want the day off, huh? Let's take a look at what you are asking for:
There are 365 days per year available for work. There are 52 weeks per year in which you already have two days off per week, leaving 261 days available for work. Since you spend 16 hours each day away from work, you have used up 170 days, leaving only 91 days available. You spend 30 minutes each day on coffee breaks which accounts for 23 days each year, leaving only 68 work days available. With a one-hour lunch period each day, you have used up another 46 days, leaving only 22 days. You normally spend 2 days per year on sick leave, leaving you only 20 available work days.We are off for 5 holidays per year, so your available working time is down to 15 days. We generously give you 14 days vacation per year, which leaves only 1 day available for work. And you still want to take that one day off too???!!!!

How do you make so much $$$ Money?

A teacher, doctor and a businessman attend a party. A teacher and a doctor meet each other and as they were having a conversation, they see a well-known rich businessman. Thinking of giving a try to converse and get some advise from businessman, they both approach a businessman by introducing themselves and ask,

Teacher: Sir, if you don't mind: How did you make that much fortune?
Businessman: I bill people for giving advise.

Teacher and a doctor nodded with an agreement and carried on their conversation. Couple of days later, they both (teacher & doctor) received a bill from a businessman.
