- Restart your computer and go into BIOS
- On the MAIN page (1st page) select SATA drive configuration into AUTO detection.
- Some setting have PRIMARY MASTER, AUTO/PRIMARY SLAVE, SECONDARY MASTER, SECONDARY SLAVE options, Change all fields to AUTO detection
- Save Changes and Exit
- To connect a secondary hard-drive: Open the PC case
- Without changing any wires, connect an extra wire cap and a ribbon to the secondary hard-drive.
- Plug everything back in and start your PC.
