Simple considerations can save you time and hassle restoring your laptop.
- When you turn off, hibernate, and/or close the laptop lid, wait until your laptop completely turns off and/or hibernates.
- Waiting for couple seconds until your laptop is off and/or hibernated, allows your laptop to completely stop the spinning disk, which is the common cause of computer crashes and/or boot error(s).
- Reason: since hard-disk continues to spin and read data until it is completely stopped, slight movement of computer can cause the disk to misread information that causes boot error and/or alike errors.
- Unless: you have a Solid State Disk (SSD), which is a flash based hard-disk.
